Weaverbird Group is honored to have Mr. Malik Ali Aamir as its Chairman. With a distinguished career in law enforcement as a recently retired Grade 22 officer of the Pakistan Police Service (PSP), (the highest grade in service).
Mr. Aamir is a decorated officer, having been awarded the President of Pakistan Medal for Gallantry in 1996 in recognition of his exceptional service and bravery. In addition to his remarkable service in law enforcement, he played a crucial role in establishing the Punjab Police Safe Cities Authority, as the founding Managing Director, helping bring Lahore into the top 30 safest cities in world. Other high profile achievements involve catching the CIA’s most wanted list serial killer and helping bring cricket back to Pakistan in coordination with the ICC. Prominent positions held include Add IG Punjab, DIG Lahore and SSP Special Branch.
As a Member of the Prime Minister’s Inspection Commission (PMIC), Mr. Aamir contributed to the advancement of public governance and policy. His vast experience, leadership, and commitment to service now guide his role as Chairman of WeaverBird Group, where he brings his vision and strategic insight to shape the company’s future growth.

Weaverbird Group is proud to have Dr. Mahrukh Ali Malik as our CEO, leading the charge towards service excellence in all that we do. Dr. Malik is a medical graduate, and a successful entrepreneur based in Lahore, Pakistan. Her passion for social work and her expertise in business have made her a well-respected figure in the industry.
Dr. Malik’s commitment to improving healthcare in her community led her to work as a health consultant for the Asian Development Bank (ADB). She is also an active participant of Developments in Literacy (DIL), an organization that advocates for girl-child education. As an alumnus of the Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB) at LUMS, Dr. Malik frequently mentors MBA students and serves as an inspirational speaker and moderator.
Dr. Malik’s entrepreneurial spirit is also evident in her successful ventures. She founded InstaPrint, a graphic communications concept that has become a homegrown brand in the local services sector. Additionally, she has overseen several real estate development projects, including the highly sought-after Mall94 and the secure housing scheme, Sufi City.
Dr. Malik is a member of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) and is the only female Chartered member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE). She has received several accolades for her work, including the prestigious “Laurels of Honour” award from WCCI Lahore.

Mekaeel Malik, COO of Weaverbird Group, is a distinguished engineer and business graduate from the University of Warwick, and University of Oxford, UK. After a successful tenure at JP Morgan – the world’s largest investment bank – he quit the day after his promotion to return to Pakistan and apply his expertise to the local business landscape. Mekaeel recently completed an MBA at the University of Oxford, where he served as the Academics Officer and worked to improve Pakistani students’ access to the institution. His insights and skills have helped Weaverbird Group expand its portfolio, and his primary focus remains on enhancing the company’s business mix.

Alizeh Shah Malik, the Chief Marketing Officer at Weaverbird Group, is a young and dynamic entrepreneur with exceptional marketing skills. She completed her A/Levels from Lahore Grammar School and graduated in law from LUMS. During her time at LUMS, she founded Hair Matters, which is now a successful hair care brand operating in Pakistan, UAE, and the UK. Alizeh completed her Masters in Entrepreneurship from the University of Manchester, where she formed international partnerships for Hair Matters. She also led the marketing for Insta Print, elevating its visibility and sales. Alizeh’s marketing expertise has helped Weaverbird’s portfolio businesses reach new heights of success.
